Our founder, Danisha McClary, is a retired government contract and fiscal law attorney, certified grant writer, author, speaker, and entrepreneur.  Mrs. McClary's professional training includes a bachelor of science (BS) degree in business administration; a master of science (MS) degree in management; a juris doctorate degree; and a masters's of the laws (LLM) in government contracts and fiscal law.

 

Mrs. McClary is retired Army officer who was initially commissioned into the U.S. Army Finance Corps before being selected to attend law school in the Army's Funded Legal Education Program (FLEP).  After law school, Mrs. McClary continued her service as an Army Judge Advocate General's Corps lawyer where she obtained a specialty in government contracts and fiscal law.  Prior to retiring from the Army, Mrs. McClary was awarded a government contracting specialty by the Army.  

 

Mrs. McClary has launched three successful businesses of her own and helped dozens of Soldiers launch successful businesses.  Additionally, she has drafted government contract proposals for veteran small business owners that have been awarded contracts.  

 

Mrs. McClary initially started McClary Consulting as a sole proprietorship in 2017 to offer pro bono entrepreneurial and small business training in the Town of Andrews, South Carolina in support of the Town's Economic Development Initiative.  Since its inception, McClary Consulting has been strategically focused on helping small businesses build strong brands and secure lucrative opportunities.  In fact, Mrs. McClary's program participants experienced unparalleled success as business start-ups because Mrs. McClary leveraged her experience and expertise to connect the businesses she started with resources that would   However, Mrs. McClary's program participants were so successful that Mrs. McClary's services were soon in demand in areas all around the region.  Therefore, in 2019, the business structure for McClary Consulting was changed from a sole proprietorship to an LLC.

 

McClary Consulting, LLC currently consists of a network of business professionals in strategic partnership with the intention of helping small businesses and entrepreneurs become and remain competitive in the local, state, and federal government marketplaces and all markets in between.
